Kandy Cultural Dance Show
Sri Lanka’s Vibrant Cultural Recital
Firewalking, devil dancing, and peacock dances take centre stage along with a host of island dance styles and cultural practices to create the Kandy cultural dance show. Featuring a range of traditional dance forms from all across Sri Lanka, this amazing cultural dance is one of the most unique island experiences in Kandy. Traditional dance styles are featured in spectacular performances by talented local artists from all parts of Sri Lanka.
Created around 30 years ago to foster and keep Sri Lanka's rich traditional dance forms alive, this dance show has run continuously since 1982. Featuring elaborate costumes, various local drumming forms, and traditional masks, the show will enthral and excite from start to finish.

The Kandy Dance Show features over 13 performances of various artistic forms with popular dance forms such as Kandyan Dancing or Up-Country Dancing, Devil Dancing (used in the olden days for healing ailments and illnesses), and Low-Country Dancing among the spectacle. Live music is also provided, where indigenous instruments showcase a medley of traditional tunes and rhythms.

- Drum Orchestra (Features various types of Indigenous drums)
- Fire Walking (A form of deity worship that includes barefoot fire walking)
